After almost a week of ridiculous !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! here in Madison, today it got all the way up to a scalding hot 34 F. So of course, our good fortune is being ruined by more freezing rain.

The pic above is the parking lot at my office when I was going out to my car tonight.
And here's the sidewalk in front of my apartment. Note my normally very grippy Keen boots.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is what happened the last time we got freezing rain. But now I've armed myself with some windshield de-icer spray. At least tomorrow's Saturday...

Thanks for saying about the windshield de-icer spray! :) Reminded me I need to get some more, as my winter cars windshield sprayer fluid is in a metal box..thus it freezes.

Landed in madison today. After stopping at the offices I headed out to the job site. During my travels along 151 from Madison to Dubuque there was 9 cars lining the ditches of the road. Was definitely icy

Despite my apparent carping, I actually don't mind this winter stuff. I would've moved away from Wisconsin a long time ago if it bothered me. It's more like "hey check this out" than "oh woe is me."
Might be taking a little trip to Key West or somewhere similarly warm come the end of February though...

Had a fun ride home (Milwaukee to Ozaukee) tonight, and I have to get up at 6 and do it all again tomorrow. Yay.
Hopefully the roads aren't too bad in the AM.

A good friend of mine lives in Milwaukee. I live in GR. Roughly about the same Latitude..........
We had fantastic snow for playing in, until about 4pm today.
